Sales Engineer opening for a professional experienced in mechanical, hydraulic, fluid and pneumatic industry, located in Bucharest, for one of our clients, multinational leading global provider of specialized products and engineered solutions, acting in industrial distribution field. T he company network extends to approximately 13.000 locations globally, in Romania having a small sales office covering Romania and Bulgaria.

Sales Engineer

The main role of the Sales Engineer, covering South Romania and Bulgaria, reporting to Country Manager is is to close sales deals, provide technical and commercial advice to customers, focusing on detecting and generating more business opportunities based on customer demands in the production field – Aerospace, Climate Control, Electromechanical, Filtration, Fluid & Gas Handling, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Process Control and Sealing & Shielding.


Main responsibilities:
- Direct sales - acquisition of new clients & development of sales with existing customers by managing the projects for clients from initial contact to final delivery and managing the relation with the distributors and partners channels
- Support all distributors, partners, customers and prospects in the given market segment
- Responsible for the selection & design of product/ solutions based on customer requests and additional advises and building up the offers and tender packages

 

Candidates Profile:
The Sales Professional we are looking should have minimum 3 years of previous experience in industrial sales, ideally covering same geographical areas (South Romania and Bulgaria) and holding a technical University degree ideally in mechanics, hydraulics, fluids and pneumatics and/ or process engineering
Proven successful experience within sales of technical solutions, managing a large product portfolio towards industrial clients and advanced knowledge of MS office – Excel, Word, Power Point, fluency in English are mandatory.
Availability for extensive traveling is required since the role covers South Romania and Bulgaria.
